Later & History

The default tab in the Playlist section in the bottom bar is where you manage your Playlist. There are two other tabs, Later and History, which you can also use to manage your listening interests and history.

Later

The Later tab lets you keep a list of episodes you’re interested in listening to at some point, but not right now. You can use Superphonic entirely without needing the Later tab at all, but it exists for people who prefer to keep their Playlist short and tightly curated while having a backlog of things they can listen to at a later time.

As with the Playlist tab, you can search through your Later list and also select/filter episodes as needed. Swipe right on any episode to move it into the Playlist. Swipe left to delete an episode.

By default, Superphonic will play from your Later list when your Playlist is empty. You can change this in Settings -> Playback Settings.

History

All episodes you’ve listened to will show in the History tab. You can search through this tab and swipe right to move an episode into Playlist, or swipe left to delete an episode from your history. Note that episode audio is never saved in History (i.e. deleting an episode from the History tab doesn’t save any space on your phone’s storage; it’s instead just a way to remove something from your history).
